Curious how Miranda Lambert’s Seattle performance sparked unexpected buzz across social media? A surprise wardrobe malfunction during her hit song “Bluebird” left fans stunned, but the country star kept singing without missing a beat.
Here is what really happened when Lambert’s skort shifted on stage and why the moment has gone viral ever since.
Miranda Lambert suffers wardrobe malfunction
Country music star Miranda Lambert experienced a wardrobe malfunction while performing at Morgan Wallen’s I’m The Problem Tour stop in Seattle on July 25–26, 2025.
The 41-year-old singer was midway through her hit song “Bluebird” when fans noticed her denim skort riding up, briefly exposing parts of her backside. The incident was caught on video by a concertgoer in the pit section and quickly went viral on TikTok.
Lambert wore a casual concert outfit that included a denim mini skort, classic t-shirt, cowboy boots, and her trademark hat. As she walked down the catwalk, the skort shifted, unintentionally revealing both butt cheeks to the front rows. Lambert appeared unaware of the malfunction and continued singing without interruption. Audience members audibly reacted, with one person in the video exclaiming, “Oh my God,” as Lambert turned to face the crowd.
Commenters online responded with humor. One viewer wrote, “Somebody start a GoFundMe for the camera man so we can tip him for this masterpiece.” Another added, “Now we know why front row is so expensive.” Some fans speculated that Lambert staged the incident, but neither she nor her team has issued an official statement.
Lambert appears to have experienced her first public wardrobe mishap in her two-decade career. She is currently on tour with 10 shows remaining through September 15, ending in Edmonton, Alberta. She continues performing alongside Morgan Wallen on a multi-city run across North America.
Wardrobe mishaps have been common in live entertainment. That same weekend, Jennifer Lopez also experienced a costume failure when her skirt fell off mid-performance. Lopez addressed the crowd directly, saying, “I’m out here in my underwear,” and later joked, “I’m glad I had underwear on. I don’t usually wear underwear.”
