SAKET PRANAAM AND VAMSEE ART THEATERS organized Veena Concert by Smt. Rajeswari Pariti from USA at Kala Vedika, Saket Pranaam , Hyderabad on 11 March 2023
Dr Sikinder Hayath, President of the Cultural Committee of Saket Pranaam Flat Owners Association, gave a brief introduction followed by Sri Vamsee Ramaraju’s introduction about the artist. Prof Syamsundar was instrumental in arranging and coordinating with Sri Vamsee Ramaraju. Who is the founder of Vamsee International, Vegesna foundation and many cultural & social organizations.
Smt Rajeswari Pariti on Veena was accompanied by Sri P. Durga Kumar on Mridangam and Sri T.P. Balasubrahmanyam on Ghatam
Sri Vamsee Ramaraju while applauding Smt Rajeswari Pariti announced the title Viswa Vipanchi . He said that Smt Rajeswari is Viswa Vipanchi Rajeswari from now on.
Smt Sarada Srinivasan briefly spoke about Smt Rajeswari remembered her association with Smt Rajeswari and honoured her in a traditional way .She also handed over the Title Memento. Sailaja Sunkarapalli, Vegesna Foundation also honoured Viswa Vipanchi Rajeswari Pariti.
The accompanying artists Sri Durga Kumar and Sri Balasubramnayam were honoured by Sri Vamsee Ramaraju in a traditional way.
The Veena Concert was attended by the residents of Saket Pranaam and other invited guests who enjoyed the evening of Carnatic Classical music.
Smt. Rajeswari Pariti is an accomplished Carnatic Veena exponent. belonging to Vijayanagaram Sampradayam (Vijayanagaram school of music). She gave several performances in India and USA. Her lilting music won the hearts of many music lovers. Smt. Rajeswari is currently living in Dallas, USA. She has been teaching Carnatic Vocal and Carnatic Veena for over 50 years.
